Matt Anderson, a proud native of America’s Pacific Northwest, first became interested in photography as a high school student when a clever yearbook teacher thought to channel his restless energy into documenting life on campus with a donated 35mm camera. From that point on he was hooked!
After studying journalism in the USA, Matt worked as a newspaper photographer, learning to capture story-telling moments in an unobtrusive style. He still prefers photographing in that manner, letting the subject or scene speak for itself. Matt moved to Switzerland in 2008 after marrying his “Swiss-Miss” (Dagmar), and together they’ve been developing the Viewfinder Center since 2012. Matt’s zeal for travel and outdoor adventure are indispensable in his pursuit of interesting subjects and experiences to share with fellow photographers in the Viewfinder Center community.
