Viewfinder center beginners photography course

This course is a perfect continuation for those who have already participated in Viewfinder’s Digital Starter course and are ready to expand on their new knowledge. If you’re ready to leave automatic mode behind and embrace the world of manual shooting – then you’re in the right place!

Meeting on four weekday evenings at Viewfinder’s Zurich studio, this course takes place from 19:00 until 21:30. Our approach is to offer friendly, hands-on learning that familiarises you with your camera’s functions and how to use them in real shooting situations. Think of our Digital Photography courses as a foundation of know-how which you can build upon as you continue exploring and developing your photography. The Digital Photography 1-2-3 curriculum is Viewfinder’s most popular offer, and if you’re new to our community – this is the right way to build confidence and start thinking more creatively. You’ll leave with a solid understanding of photography fundamentals after participating in this fun, four evening course!

Digital Photography Follow Up Course is open to anyone who has taken our Digital Starter Course or who has equivalent experience and understands the creative effects of aperture and shutter speed. If you’ve not taken the Starter Course, then we recommend our popular three-part Digital Photography 1-2-3 course, meeting on three Saturdays from 10:00 – 16:30.

We recommend a digital SLR camera (a camera with changeable lenses) or a mirrorless camera such as those from Olympus, Panasonic, Sony or Fuji. It is also possible to take the course with a compact camera. We are “brand-agnostic” at Viewfinder, so any camera brand is fine. Be sure to charge your camera battery and bring a cleared memory card to the course. If you don’t already own a suitable camera, please inquire about using our loaner camera during the course.

Minimum of 5 participants, Maximum of 9

Excellent course. Clear, with a good mix of theory and practice. Covered a wide range of topics but to a good depth as well. Really enjoyed it!

What a GREAT DAY today!!!! You must hear this at the end of each course, but really, it was amazing. I didn't expect to go through so much information and so many things which until now were always so vague and unclear. Now it all makes sense.
