  • Understanding how to compliment the ambient light with flattering light from your flash.
  • Learn to navigate the crossroads between ambient & flash for a balanced exposure.

Our Studio Portraiture 1-2-3 course series is an intermediate level course, open to anyone who has a solid fundamental knowledge of camera settings. Extensive flash experience is not required, but we strongly recommend starting with our Studio Portraiture 1 course.

We recommend any "system camera" which has a changeable lens (such as those from Olympus, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Nikon or Canon). We are “brand-agnostic” at Viewfinder, so any camera brand is just fine. A medium length zoom or fixed lens (e.g. 24-70mm, 50mm or 85mm) is perfect. If you own a 50mm ("standard lens") please bring it with. We have several 50mm lenses for Nikon and Canon cameras which you are welcome to borrow during the course. Please be sure to charge your camera's battery and don't forget to bring a memory card with you.

Viewfinder Center (Photo Studio), Dachslerenstrasse 10, 8702 Zollikon.
