This course is open to anyone with basic computer skills. As a beginner course, no previous experience with Adobe Lightroom is needed but you need to be familiar with basic computer operations, such as creating new folders and locating files in your operating system.
Although this course will be thought in English, the instructor also has German hand-outs available and can help out in (Swiss) German if necessary.
You will need to bring your own laptop computer (Mac or PC) with an updated version of Adobe Lightroom pre-installed and ready to use. Please be sure that the program can be launched before coming to the first course session. It is not necessary to have any photos in your catalogue. We will use images provided by the instructor for most of our exercises. Students are asked to bring one portrait image and one landscape image for Sunday’s retouching exercises.
Viewfinder Center, Stampfenbachstr. 157, 8006 Zürich
A’ron picked up his first camera at age 10 and has been fascinated by the creative and technical sides of photography ever since. His main passions are wildlife and landscape photography and he travels widely in search of new subjects and scenes. A’ron has developed a strong expertise with Adobe Lightroom (having started with version 1 in 2007) and takes pleasure in helping other photographers master this powerful photo editing software.
This workshop is full of demonstrations and short exercises to get you setup with Lightroom’s essential time-saving preferences, presets and templates. The instructor will guide students through a number of key processes from importing, tagging, selecting and ranking images to creative color and black and white adjustments and much more. The course language is English but the instructor speaks German and has German hand-outs available.
