EXPERIENCE LEVEL

Our Digital Photography 1-2-3 is a beginner's course and is open to anyone. If you are just starting your photography journey we recommend that you start here. The three different sessions are designed to build on each other from one session to the next.

EQUIPMENT

We recommend any "system camera" which has a changeable lens (such as those from Olympus, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Nikon or Canon). We are “brand-agnostic” at Viewfinder, so any camera brand is just fine. If you own a 50mm ("standard lens") please bring it with. We have several 50mm lenses for Nikon and Canon cameras which you are welcome to use during the course. Please be sure to charge your camera's battery and don't forget to bring a memory card with you.
*NOTE: If you currently do not own a camera, we are happy to loan you one for the course.

Student Testimonials

That was perfect! Looking forward to the next courses. I registered for Digital Photography 1-2-3 and I’m planning to attend more courses. I will definitely recommend Viewfinder Center to a friend who is also seeking to improve her skills.

Thanks for a fantastic class! I can't believe how much I was able to learn during the day and how these new ideas have completely changed my approach to taking pictures.
Jack M.
What a great day today!!! You must hear this at the end of each course, but really, it was amazing. I didn't expect to go through so much information and so many things which until now were always so vague and unclear. Now it all makes sense.
Giorgina D.L.
I did the basic 1-2-3 course and can really recommend it to anybody who likes to explore the opportunities the camera offers besides automatic mode. Great teacher, small groups, worth the money!
